The MOSIS Educational Program
Reporting Requirements
MOSIS requires reports on test results for each fabricated design
submitted for fabrication in the MOSIS Educational Program.
The MOSIS Educatational Program (MEP) will not grant new awards until
all past due reports have been received.
MEP Instructional Accounts
Text reports can be submitted via the MOSIS
Report Submission
Form. An e-mail template
is also available.
If your report contains graphs, images, or formatted text, please save
it as a PDF file and send it by e-mail to
support@mosis.com. Be sure to
reference the design id or fabrication id number in the accompanying
e-mail message.
MEP Research Accounts
Reports submitted via the MOSIS Report Submission Form do not satisfy
the requirements for MEP Research test reporting.
MEP Research reports must be a detailed description of the chip
testing and the test results. Most schools submit a MEP Research test
report in the required PDF format and will usually be a minimum of two
to three pages. Some schools have submitted a copy of a published
paper or a research conference poster session report that reports on
the research done with chip, as those from the
University of
Maine. We have also received the students' thesis that reports on
the research involving the MEP Research chip. Students doing research
leading to a degree usually must report their results to their advisor
or committee in some written document form. It is not necessary to
create a separate MEP Research report from what you are required to do
to report your research at your school.
Please send your reports to
support@mosis.com with
reference to the MEP Research Program and with the report as a PDF
attachment. Be sure to reference the design id or fabrication id
number in the accompanying e-mail. Do not submit a MOSIS Report
Submission Web Form.
